2. What information is collected?
We collect your name, email address, school or community, area of interest, motivation for joining, your consent to this use, and the date/time the application is recorded.
3. Why do we use it?
We use the information to review membership applications, contact applicants about the outcome, and administer REF membership. An application does not automatically make someone a member.
4. Who can access it?
Only authorised REF reviewers and service providers needed to operate the application system should access the information. Applications are stored in the REF Supabase database. Do not collect sensitive information through this form.
5. How long is it kept?
REF must set and publish a retention period before launch. Applications should be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed for the stated purpose, subject to applicable legal requirements. Retention period to be confirmed by REF.
6. Your choices and questions
You may contact REF at the address above to ask about your application or request access/correction/deletion where applicable. We will handle requests in line with applicable law and our verified procedures.
7. Security
REF should limit database access to named reviewers, protect account credentials, periodically review access, and follow an incident-response process. No online service can promise absolute security.
8. Changes to this notice
REF may update this notice as the service changes. Add the effective date once this notice has been reviewed and approved.
